Artist's Statement

I am an interdisciplinary artist and educator whose creative practice bridges visual art and contemplative experience. My works on paper are the result of process-centered exploration of media, while my niches and mosaics combine found objects, mirrors, glass, vintage instruments, and items from the natural world to create small sanctuaries for quiet reflection and enjoyment. The same themes that appear in my artwork – guided rest as a creative act of presence - also inform my vocation as a teacher and facilitator of yoga nidra and sound-based meditation. In these settings, I guide individuals and groups through immersive practices that integrate sound, stillness, and attentive presence. Whether in a classroom, gallery, or community gathering, my work forms serene spaces where peace becomes both medium and framework.
